We are currently sold out of plants and taking a break until March 2022 after another busy year. We would like to thank all our customers for your continued support and we look forward to welcoming you back in 2022
Nursery & Garden Centre
Ballinora Nursery and Plant Centre is a family business, run for over 25 years by Pat and Rosaleen Tuite.
We specialise in growing a wide variety of beautiful and high quality bedding pants, shrubs and perennials which flower over the period of mid April until the first winter frosts. We pride ourselves in using eco-friendly methods to grow hardy, climatised plants. We grow seedlings without heat in a ventilated, multi-span structure so that they remain strong against the Irish weather, and only sell our plants to customers when they are healthy and ready.
We provide container planting services for business outlets and individual customers. Our customers leave their containers (i.e. hanging baskets, window boxes etc) with us for planting to their requirements from mid March onward, and collect the finished containers from mid May when they are in full flower.
Popular evening planting demonstrations and classes are also held at no cost for flower clubs, leisure groups and organisations interested in plants. These classes are held in late spring to early summer and are followed by tea and coffee. Come and learn about planting hanging baskets, window boxes, tubs etc., or have a go at planting your own containers using our extensive range of plants available in the nursery!
